As an update to a story heard yesterday on KNIA/KRLS news, a 23 year-old Johnston woman and her two children were transported to the hospital after a single vehicle accident near Pleasantville Sunday afternoon.
According to the Iowa State Patrol Lisa Suzanne Stagg was driving a 1997 Ford Escape northwest bound on highway 5 just before Jasper Street when she reached into the back seat to put her daughter’s drink in the cup holder, when she looked up she was headed into the median. Stagg then overcorrected and lost control, rolling the vehicle into the north ditch and come to rest on its wheels.
Lisa was cited for failure to maintain control and she, her five year old daughter Joselyn and baby Jayden were all transported to Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines via Pleasantville Ambulance to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
