Two men facing drug charges in separate instances in Knoxville have entered not guilty pleas.

Robert Alan Estes of Des Moines entered a written plea of not guilty and has not waived his right to a speedy trial. Estes faces several charges including manufacturing of a schedule II controlled substance – methamphetamine and possession of meth and marijuana after being arrested during a traffic stop south of Knoxville on February 11th. A trial has been set for May 3rd in the Marion County Courthouse with a pre-trial conference scheduled for March 25th.

In addition, Gary Lee Galvin Jr. of Knoxville submitted a written plea of not guilty this week and has waived his speedy trial. Galvin was arrested on February 16th when officers searched his home and found more than a pound and a half of marijuana. He faces several charges including possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and maintaining a drug house.

Brandon Lee Galvin, who was also arrested as a result of the search warrant has an arraignment scheduled for March 11th.
