Proposals for an Enhanced Use Lease of the Knoxville VA campus are due at 10am today. The original deadline was set for February 15th though it was extended last month due to the level of details demanded by the specific requirements of the request for proposals. Two proposals have been made public thus far, one for a Veterans National Recovery Center submitted by Bob Krause and a mixed use proposal from the Kowalenko Consulting group. A list of interested vendors on the Federal Business Opportunities website show 11 different companies or organizations, all of which are located out of state.
