Andi Bacon, Manager of Home Health and Hospice at Pella Regional Health Center says that while a person will receive medical care with or without an advanced directive, having one ensures your medical care wishes are met. She adds there are several ways to obtain the document including requesting a living will from the Iowa Bar Association, through a personal attorney or through the Journeys program funded by Pella United Way and the Health Center.
