The Central College baseball team will try and snap a five-game losing skid this afternoon, as the Dutch welcome Washington University of out St. Louis to Pella for a non-conference doubleheader.
After sweeping Loras to open Iowa Conference play, Central has been woeful offensively in losses to Wartburg and Simpson – only putting one run across the plate in the last 21 innings.
The Dutch will try and snap that this afternoon against a Washington team that has been hot lately and carries a 19-11 record into today. Central is 12-8 overall.
