The Pella City Council met in regular session last night.
Two public meetings were held and the Council passed an ordinance concerning the rezoning of 88 acres of property in the Fountain Hills Subdivision from agriculture to residential purposes.
The Council passed a similar ordinance for four acres on the north side of Big Rock Park Road. An agreement with Lely, Inc. and the state for private development was also passed.
The council also had a preliminary discussion on the use of LOSST funds and will pursue action at a later meeting.
