Habitat For Humanity Director Happy With Turnout For First Concert

Marion County Habitat For Humanity held their first concert fundraiser Friday night at the Pella Opera House. The event saw more than 100 people in attendance to support the organization.

The concert featured a variety of acts from around Marion County including the Dutchesses, Elvis tribute artist Allen Robuck, area church choirs, several solo performers, groups from Pella High School and Central College and some of the people who have benefited from the work of the organization.

Habitat Director Lisa Houser says she was pleased with the turnout for the first year. She says they are already developing plans to make next year’s show bigger and better.
