High Finishes Help Knoxville Girls To 2nd Place At Clarke

It was a strong 2011 debut for the Knoxville Girls Track and Field squad last night at the Clarke Invitational. The Panthers finished second overall in the class-A team standings. Getting first place medals were, Alissa Van Klootwyk in the 3000 teammate Hannah Wallace was right behind in second place. Amy Turner placed first in the 200, while the distance medley relay also took gold. Runner up finishes were, Lydia Anderson in the 1500, Chambray Daugherty in the high jump, and the sprint medley relay also finished second.
