Knoxville Boys’ 10 Wins Plenty To Take 46th Panther Relays Title

The Knoxville Boys Track and Field Squad won ten of the 18 events and steamrolled the field in the 46th Panther Relays yesterday. The Panthers got wins from Ty Dunkin in the shot put and Derek Seddon in the discus, Tim Shepherd won the 3200, Alex Edwards set a new meet record in winning the 400, Jamie VanderVeer took the 1600 and 800 runs. Knoxville also earned gold medals in the four-by-200, 400, 800, and medley. Pella finished second, 49 points behind Knoxville. The Little Dutch got wins from Chris Brogden in the 100, and Jace Versteeg in the 110 hurdles. Pella Christian placed fourth as the Eagles were victorious in the high jump as Derek VanKooten took gold in that event.
