The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is in the process of hiring someone to serve a new position at their chamber office. Office Coordinator Melinda O’Field tells KNIA/KRLS news the board is now interviewing for a part time Executive Director position. Currently O’Field is the only one working in the office on a daily basis as former Executive Office Coordinator Jessie Wilson left earlier this month. O’Field says the new position will include the duties Wilson performed along with being the face of the chamber at various events and spending more time reaching out to area businesses.
