Another springtime tradition continues later this month as the Knoxville Noon Kiwanis club is hosting this year’s annual Easter egg hunt.
Kiwanis member Curt Schwanebeck says they were asked to take over the event this year and since members helped organize it in 2010 they were happy to step up this year. With their mission statement of “changing the world one child at a time” Schwanebeck says they are always looking for ways to help the community and this tradition has is a great event for the community to do together.
All children who live in the area or are visiting Knoxville Easter weekend are invited to participate in the hunt free of charge. The event will take place at the northwest corner of Madison and Lincoln Streets at 1pm Saturday April 23rd.
Businesses or individuals that would like to supplies or monetary donations for the event can call Curt Schwanebeck at 891-2418.
