The Knoxville Girls Golf Squad will play in the P-C-M Invitational today. The Panthers are coming off a round against Oskaloosa where they shot their best team total of the season of 231. While the Panthers have only one win this season, Coach Kyle Kincaid is pleased with the improvement all of his players have made since the opening of the season. He notes foreign exchange student Maria Diminet has gone from never playing the game in her life to being a contributor on the team’s overall score. Kincaid says between now and the end of the season, he wants the girls to continue to improve and keep lowering their scores. He adds with four of his five girls back next season the goals will likely be a little higher.
