One of the youngest teams to greet Knoxville Girls Tennis Coach Nick DeMoss is working out and getting ready for the season. The girls actually already have had a match scheduled with Chariton earlier this week but got rained out on Thursday. DeMoss says only one senior is on the team this season. While the team is very young, he says they have been working hard in practice. He says he knows that most of the conference teams will have much more experience than his. He adds that right now the girls will likely take their lumps, but in a few seasons he can see what is building on the horizon. Knoxville’s next scheduled match is this Tuesday against one of the Little Hawkeye Conference favorites, Pella Christian.
