Along with making decisions in regards to healthcare toward the end of life, estate planning is also something that should be thought about early. The Knoxville Hospital and Clinics Foundation is now offering an incentive for those who have an up-to-date estate plan. More than half of all Americans do not have a valid up-to-date will or estate plan, therefore forfeiting the right to distribute their property as they see fit. This also results in extra expenses and delays for their families and loses an opportunity to help deserving organizations.

They feel that leaving a legacy is a very important decision and investing in quality local health care for future generations is an important cause. Those who leave a gift of $5,000 or more, the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics Foundation will pay up to $500 of your attorney fees. Those with questions about developing your Legacy of Giving can contact the foundation office at 842-1418.
