The first Marion County match-up on the soccer pitch is scheduled for today in Knoxville as Pella Christian visits the Panthers at Randy Wilson Track and Field. Knoxville scored a 10-1 thrashing of Carlisle last night with Dylan Schrader scoring six goals. Coach Jon Smith says each year the goal is to get in the top three of the Little Hawkeye Conference. He says the L-H-C is never easy to win and teams like Norwalk, Grinnell and Pella in the mix, there is never an easy night. Tonight’s matchup will have the varsity playing first at 5:30 followed by a half of a J-V match.
