Rain also completely washed out Knoxville’s scheduled soccer matches with Grinnell. The Panthers boys were scheduled to travel to Grinnell in an important Little Hawkeye Conference match while the girls still looking for their first win of the season where scheduled to host the Tigers. Also rained out were yesterday’s girls golf triangular in Grinnell with Norwalk, and Mother Nature completed the sweep of the Panther sports schedule by raining out the girls track and field squad’s scheduled trip to Montezuma. The next scheduled meet for the girls is not until next Monday in Winterset which will be 16 days between their last meet which was the Panther Relays on April ninth. Three of the team’s last four meets have been rained out.
