Local wine producer Tassel Ridge has been recognized for the quality of its product in an international competition.
The vineyard was awarded silver medals in the artificially frozen and concord categories for their Prairie Snow and Red White and Blue varieties.
Bronze medals were awarded for their 2008 Edelweiss vintage, Rockets Glare Rose in the sweet rose category and Star-Spangled White, also in the Edelweiss category.
The awards came from the Finger Lake International Wine Competition.
