In addition to an increase in pedestrians and bicyclists out during the warmer months different types of motor vehicles can be seen on area roadways as well. Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada says mopeds and golf carts are allowed within City limits though all-terrain vehicles such as four wheelers and gators are not. As a reminder, Losada says regardless of the type of vehicle all traffic laws must be obeyed. In addition, slow moving vehicles such as golf carts cannot be driven on highway 14 and can only be used during daylight hours.
