The P-C-M Boys Golf Squad won their own Mustang Classic yesterday at Gateway Golf Course in Monroe. The Mustangs shot a 317 which was nine shots better than runner-up Colfax-Mingo. P-C-M’s Hunter Van Veen was medalist with a one under 71. Coach Mike Smith said Van Veen played outstanding and at one time was four under par which was great considering the wind and rainy conditions the golfers had to get through. The Mustangs are off until next week at the Heart of Iowa Conference Tournament where P-C-M is the two-time defending champion.
