When the Pella boys soccer team takes to the pitch this evening against Oskaloosa, they will be looking to show continued improvement in a few key areas.  Little Dutch Head Coach Mark Solomon says the team has been concentrating on a few specific areas, as well as some slight adjustments to make the team sharper.
“Specifically, we’re just making sure that we’re able to involve our forwards a little bit more in our action.  We’re also wanting to make sure that our defensive back line is a little more in sync and communicating better,” said Solomon.
“Other than that, it was simply a bit of tweaking things here and there and practicing some finishing exercises to hopefully make us a little bit sharper next time around.”
The Pella boys soccer team takes on the Indians tonight at 5:30 p.m. in Oskaloosa, then will be on the field turf at the athletic complex in Pella on Thursday to host South Tama.
