The girls track and field squads from Pella, Pella Christian and PCM were all in action in Pella Thursday night to take part in the Tulip Time Relays, hosted by the Lady Dutch.

Team scoring in the meet was split between large and small schools, with Pella High claiming the team title amongst the large school division with 200 points – 53 ahead of second place Ottumwa.  The PCM girls competed in the large school division as well, placing third with 68 points.

The Pella Christian girls squad was short a few athletes – due to the senior class trip – and placed fourth amongst the smaller schools with 63 points.  Highlight performances included wins in the 4×100 and 4×200 meter relays for the Lady Eagles; while PCM’s Jordan Wood and Shelby Palm went one-two in the long jump.
