Nearly everyone is back on the Pleasantville girl’s golf squad that was within eight strokes of going to the class 2A state meet last spring. Coach Dan Calhoun says his senior leaders Konnor Gordon and Kaitlyn Friday will be his top two golfers. Calhoun says both girls have a big responsibility to the team. Calhoun says Morgan Marsh who is a returning all Pride of Iowa Conference player, also Charley Vanderpool, Ashley Johner, Taylor Wadle, and Kaylee Thill. Calhoun adds newcomer Marissa Schletzbaum is still learning the game and is making progress every day. Pleasantville will open its season next Thursday against P-C-M.
