There’s a new addition at the Pleasantville High School that provides hands-on learning for horticulture students. A greenhouse was built on the south side of the high school this year and the community is invited to come celebrate the grand opening. Free pork burgers will be grilled by the Marion County Pork Producers along with free coffee from Smokey Row and plant raffles. A variety of annual and perennial flowers and vegetable plants will be available for sale with all proceeds going to the horticulture program. The grand opening will be held today from 11am-4pm.
