The fourth annual Gene Van Wyk Memorial run is coming up this weekend. The 5k run will begin and end at Pella Christian High School this Saturday. Awards will go to the top three male and female finishers in each of 7 age groups. Registration cost is $25 for individuals, $60 for groups and is open until midnight Thursday. Proceeds from the event benefit a memorial fund named after long-time Pella Christian teacher and guidance counselor Gene Van Wyk.
