As the weather continues to warm up planting season starts for area farmers and it’s important for everyone to be aware of slow moving vehicles. Sheriff Ron Goemaat asks all motorists to drive cautiously especially on gravel roads in the area, as large farm machinery moves slowly. He says often the times these large pieces of equipment take up the majority of two lane highways and it is important for motorists to slow down and be alert when approaching farm machinery and pull off to the shoulder if necessary. Goemaat asks drivers to be patient and courteous of farmers as they travel from one field to another.
