The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session this morning.
At the meeting the board held a public hearing in regards to establishment of a Pioneer Cemetery Comission, appointed Jake Smith as a Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy and Troy Fisher as the new Chief Deputy after a recommendation from Sheriff Ron Goemaat who says Fisher is a good deputy who is loyal and very capable of performing the necessary duties.
The board also approved an agreement with Cost Advisory Services Inc. for professional consulting services, approved a contract with Koopman Construction for roof repair at the Pleasantville Memorial Building at a 20 year warranty rate of $39,681, approved secondary roads department policy 16, renewed a contract with the Department of Human Services for targeted case management services and approved a 28E agreement with Warren County for reimbursement of regional services provided by DHS.
