Several local students have been awarded scholarships from the Farm Bureau. The $1,000 scholarships are awarded to high school seniors and current college students whose parents are Farm Bureau members. Area winners are Zeke Kauzlarich, son of Rick and Sue Kauzlarich and Joshua Petersen, son of James and Julie Peterson. Kauzlarich and Peterson are both seniors at Knoxville High School and will both be attending Iowa State University in the fall. Samuel Moore, son of Jim and Barb Moore of Clarion also won a scholarship. Moore is a student at Central College.
