Many of our area teams are starting play on the diamonds this week. Melcher-Dallas, Twin Cedars, Pleasantville and P-C-M all start both baseball and softball. The baseball mustangs of P-C-M coming off a state tournament berth last season. Pleasantville with nearly its entire pitching staff back from last season also looks to have a strong season.
