The Central College baseball team will face Wartburg College on Thursday in the opening round of the Iowa Conference Tournament.  The Dutch have the No. 6 seed after finishing the regular season with a 12-12 league record, while the Knights went 16-8 in the conference and are the No. 3 seed.  Coe College claimed the conference title outright with an 18-6 record to earn the top seed in the tournament.  
If Central wins their first game on Thursday, they would face Buena Vista University later that afternoon.  A loss would drop the Dutch into the loser’s bracket to play on Friday.  
The Iowa Conference Baseball Tournament is being held at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids.
