Through five weeks of competition, the Central College women’s and men’s track and field teams remain ranked among the best in the nation.  
The Dutch men dropped one notch to No. 5 in the latest U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association outdoor power rankings; while the Central women slid six spots to No. 13.  In the women’s rankings, fellow Iowa Conference school Wartburg College was bumped out of the top spot and sits at No. 2.  
The Dutch are coming off of a strong performances from both squads at last weekend’s Drake Relays, where three school records fell.  Both squads will be in Monmouth, Illinois, on Saturday.
