The Marion County Sheriff’s Office recently held a prescription drug drop off event at the Marion County Law Enforcement Center. Sheriff Ron Goemaat tells KNIA KRLS that the event was a success, with approximately 25 pounds of prescription drugs being dropped off. Goemaat says these events are important to help insure that the drugs don’t fall into the wrong hands or make it into our water supply.
