A potent offense and a stingy defense came together for the Pella Christian boys soccer team on Thursday night, as the Eagles blanked South Tama 4-0.
Goals by Jacob Dahm and Dan Hessing in the first half put Pella Christian up 2-0 by halftime.  Hessing would score again in the second half, along with a goal by Jon Admiraal to close the door on the Trojans.
Pella Christian goalkeeper Jordan VanMaanen posted 15 saves in the win.  The Eagles now move on to postseason play, where they will face West Central Valley in Stuart in the opening round of the Class 1-A Substate Tournament.
