The Knoxville Softball Squad went 1-2 at the Centerville Invitational yesterday. The panthers pounded Moulton-Udell 18-4 as Bailey Nichols got the win. In the second game Centerville scored two runs in the bottom of the last innings to defeat Knoxville 3-2. Katie Ayers and Emily Lee both had singles as Jessica Stickel took the loss. In the third and final game defending class 3A State Champion Carlisle beat Knoxville 10-0 in five innings. Taylor Carter had a double for Knoxville. The Panthers are one-and-four on the season and are off until Wednesday when they take on Pella Christian in their home opener.
