Great weather has Marion County farmers hard at work in their fields. Dale Miller, with the ISU extension office in Marion County estimates that 80% of the corn and 20% of the soybeans have been planted as of Monday. This puts us ahead of the state average predicted values, where 69% of the corn and 10% of the soybeans have been planted.
