The new Knoxville City manager is moving into town this week. Harold Stewart and his family are moving from Ogallala, Nebraska, where he was also city manager. He was chosen to replace former City Manager Dick Schrad, who is now retired. Some of Stewart’s work history highlights include spurring economic development, doubling the capacity of the City Recreation Center with no funding coming from local tax payers and being honored with a Library Advocacy Award. Stewart is expected to start June 13.
