PC Girls Soccer Wins Over South Tama

After being shutout in the first half, the Pella Christian girls soccer team got two goals in the second half to win 2-1 over South Tama last night. The Eagles trailed 1-0 at the half but Karianne Bolt evened the score finding the net at the 46 minute mark, then Kayla Groenendyk got the game winner on a penalty kick that came in the 65th minute. The Eagles held a huge advantage in the shots on goal category outshooting the Trojans 20-4.
