A strong offensive attack in the second half propelled the Pella boys soccer team to a 5-1 win over Oskaloosa in a contest that was originally scheduled to be played on April 19th.  The Little Dutch struck first, putting a rebound past the Indians’ keeper 11 minutes into the game, but Oskaloosa came back to tie the match at 1-1 late in the first half.
Pella claimed the momentum in the second half, though, finishing strong with four goals while holding the Indians scoreless.  All five Pella goals were scored or assisted on by different players.  With the win, the Little Dutch are now 8-3 overall and 3-1 in the Little Hawkeye Conference and are off until May 10th when they travel to Norwalk.
