Pella Girls Dominate Conferene Track Meet; Pella Christian 6th, Knoxville 8th

Just like the Knoxville boys, the Pella Girls Track and Field Squad ran away from everyone in the girl’s portion of the Little Hawkeye Conference Meet last night. Pella won with 184 points easily outdistancing Norwalk’s 109.5 points. Winning for the Lady Dutch were: Katie Sunderman in the 100, Nadine VanZomeren in the 200 and 400, Marielle Gaiser in the 400 and 400 hurdles, Maddy Scholten in the 800, and Madeline Meyer in the 1500. The Lady Dutch were winners in many of the relay events. Pella won gold in the shuttle hurdle, four-by-200, sprint medley, and the four-by-400. Pella Christian placed sixth as the Eagles got a win in the four-by-100 meter relay. Knoxville was eighth. Chambray Daugherty won the high jump.
