The Pella Girls Golf Squad qualified for the Class 3-A Regional next week with a second place showing at the District meet yesterday in Norwalk. The Lady Dutch shot a 369, just 12 strokes off of champion Ballard. Kelsey Van Tasell led the way for Pella with a third place finish – carding an 86 – while Karissa Rempe was fourth with an 87.
Knoxville was eighth in the team total shooting a 488. Jess Weldon and Morgan Roy both had a 107 on the day.
Pella advances to next Monday’s Regional in Winterset, with Van Tasell and Rempe also advancing as individuals.
