The Pella girls golf team was in good position through the front nine at Monday’s Regional Meet in Winterset, but couldn’t come up with the scores they needed on the back nine, as the Lady Dutch finished in third place – just three strokes from advancing to the Class 3-A State Tournament.  ADM took first place in the team standings with a combined score of 364, followed by Atlantic with a 383, and then Pella and Ballard tied at 386.  
Senior Kelsey Van Tasell led the Lady Dutch with an individual round of 82, earning runner-up honors and qualifying for the State Golf Tournament as an individual.  She will play Tuesday and Wednesday of next week on the River Valley Golf Course in Adel.
