Pella Regional Health Center has started a program designed to help anxious kids before they undergo surgery. The hospital is providing pillowcases to pediatric patients they can keep with them throughout their stay in the hospital to help relieve some anxiety. Pella Regional provides the fabric and volunteers cut and sew the pillowcases. For more information about volunteer opportunities or to get involved with the project, contact Angie Lyng at 621-2362
