Pella Community Schools have been ranked number three in the country in a recent survey by the Great Schools organization. The survey set parameters of schools in communities of no fewer than 10,000 residents with a median income not above the state average. Some 200,000 public schools were looked at. Pella Superintendent Mark Wittmer says the new rankings are something to be proud of, and showcase the hard work of both teachers and the community in educating our kids.
