Several Items On Tonight’s Knoxville City Council Meeting Agenda

The Knoxville City Council will meet in regular session tonight. Items on the agenda include two public hearings in regards to the sale of real property at 705 E. Main Street and the adoption of a development agreement with Weiler products, followed by action on the two items. Also on the agenda is the appointment of Police Chief Dan Losada as an interim city manager, approval of a moving contract with new City Manager Harold Stewart, an update on the columbaria project, consideration in regards to ordinances amending the purpose, intent and duties of the Knoxville Streetscape Committee and addition of a new section in the code in regards to downtown sidewalks. There will also be three proclamations signed in regards to National Police Week, National Public Works Week and Public Service Recognition week. The meeting will take place at 6:15pm in the council chambers of the Knoxville City Hall.
