Central College’s Jill Ziskovsky has been named to the Capital One Academic All-America women’s track and field/cross country team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Ziskovsky – a double major in communication studies and Spanish – is a first-team honoree. Her 3.94 cumulative GPA also earned her first-team all-district recognition earlier this month, and her third selection to the All-Iowa Conference team.
This past May, Ziskovsky earned athletic All-America honors for the sixth and seventh times with a fifth place finish in the heptathlon and her performance in Central’s record-breaking 4×400-meter relay squad that finished second in the NCAA Championships.
