The Marion County Office of Emergency Management is asking area businesses and residents to report any damage sustained as a result of Thursday night’s storms. Emergency Management Coordinator Jeff Anderson says this information will be used to create a detailed picture of how much damage occured and may also be used to indicate the level of damage to both the Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management Division and possibly FEMA. Anderson says Red Cross flood clean up kits are available at no charge at either the Courthouse or at the Office of Emergency Management. He says to provide as much detail as possible regarding any damage, and to report it by calling the Emergency Management office at 828-2256
