The nomination period for the Marion County Committee for the Farm Service Agency begins next Wednesday, June 15. This year, the nominations are coming from the townships of Pleasant Grove, Franklin, Union, Dallas, Washington, and Indiana. Richard Taylor currently serves that area. Angie Vos, Executive Director of the Farm Service Agency in Marion County, says that the Farm Service Agency helps subsidize Marion County producers as well as loaning money for grain and helping with other agricultural issues.
