A pair of home runs helped push the Pella softball team past Centerville, as the Lady Dutch picked up a 7-6 victory Tuesday night in non-conference play.
Bri Arkema and Mandy DeMeulenaere each blasted the ball out of the yard to lead a Pella offense that was out-hit 13-10 by the Big Red.
Helping put the scoring opportunities in place was center fielder Whitney Willams, who ripped up the base paths with four stolen bases.
Arkema struck out six Centerville batters to pick up the win in the pitcher’s circle for the Lady Dutch.  Pella is now 5-3 overall and playing at home tonight against South Tama.
