Knoxville Softball Falls To Norwalk; Christner Likes Improvement

Knoxville lost to Norwalk in softball last night 10-2. The Panthers were in the game until the sixth inning when the Warriors started to spray the ball around…the Knoxville committed some untimely errors. Coach Steph Chrsitner had the shuffle the line up a bit due to Catcher Taylor Wadle being out because of an illness. That put eighth grader Taylor Carter behind the plate, moved Cheyenne Jones to second and inserted Erica Fee in left field. Christner said Carter handled things well for being forced into a role that she was not planning on when she arrived at the ball park. Christner adds not only Carter but all of the players are really showing signs of improvement. Knoxville falls to 8-18 on the season and 4-8 in the Little Hawkeye Conference. Knoxville will host Pella tomorrow night.
