The Marion County Board of Supervisors voted to move ahead with the first phase of some small repairs at the Marion County Care Facility Lagoon. The repairs are being made to get the lagoon up to code for the Department of Natural Resources. The lagoon is over 40 years old, but still in good working condition. The total repairs will cost $950. There is an option for a second phase to make more repairs if the county feels it necessary. That decision will be made at a later meeting. The Supervisors also approved upping mileage reimbursement up from 40 cents per mile to 41 cents per mile and approved appointments to the new Marion County Pioneer Cemetery Association and to the Marion County Development Commission.
