The new Knoxville City Manager begins his first day on Monday. Harold Stewart comes to Knoxville from Ogallala, Nebraska, where he was also city manager. In his time at Ogallala, he helped double the capacity of the City Recreation Center without taking funding from local tax payers, and was also honored with a library advocacy award. Stewart replaces Dick Schrad, who retired after five years as city manager.
